New lawsuit about citizens’ fear of cancer

Lead can lead to severe health problems when ingested. A new lawsuit on behalf of several Flint families seeks damages because they are afraid of getting cancer as a result of the exposure to lead.

It is no surprise that Flint residents want to see action getting taken on the bad that was done to them. A number of lawsuits were filed asking for reparations and according to the Detroit Free Press a new one is based on the plaintiff’s fear of their health being impacted in the future.

It is sad to hear that people have to go through the struggle of paying for lawyers and going to court in the hope of finally seeing a little bit of justice. If they do not succeed in getting the damages they are asking for, we want them to at least have access to the healthcare they need. However, in order to make that happen, we have to show the government that our petition is widely supported. So please take a moment and share the petition with your family and friends.
